Psychological Support Program

In response to the repeated Israeli aggression in Gaza, NAWA designed the Psychological Support Program because children need to be involved in quality educational and cultural programs to rehabilitate them. These programs were designed according to four fundamentals:

•    Waldorf Steiner techniques in using therapeutic arts, stories and motion games within a regular daily routine to promote self-healing for children and educators.
•    Palestinian heritage and environment as a major source to implement children’s activities to strengthen their identity.
•    Community contributions to motivate children to participate in creating a positive change in society.
•    ‘Happiness Heals' educators and children enjoy the weekly implemented activities that aim to entertain, play and help to promote children’s physiological resilience to protect them from psychological issues in the future.
