In 2011, Reem Abu Jaber was awarded the distinctive French National Order of Merit in recognition of her achievements and dedication in the cultural and educational development of children in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. With more than 20 years of experience, Reem has held positions in senior management and has been involved in fundraising at several international developmental organizations in the Strip. Her successes lie in several fields, including managing and building institutions in marginalized areas; non-formal education; cultural management of the family and child; family literacy; and psychological support for children who are exposed to trauma.
