About Administration and Training Center

NAWA Association built its three-floor building in a way that reflects some elements of old Palestinian houses to connect the children with their roots and heritage. The Building contains Al Hekayat Kindergarten, NAWA Gallery and Administration and Training.

The Building was established through a joint fund from ANERA and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. NAWA was keen on adapting the Building, so it put a ramp at the main entrance and an elevator to facilitate the movement of people with motor disabilities. Additionally, the Association adapted the sanitary facilities, put staircase railings and installed inclusive (Braille and Sign language) signboards to indicate the location of the Building halls.

Administration and Training Center Services

Train Educators

NAWA holds all training related to its staff and the parents and educators in the grand training hall which can be easily rearranged, depending on the purpose of the training or meetings.

Hall Renting

The Building offers hall renting services for institutions since the Center can accommodate up to 50 people, which makes it an ideal place for holding training courses and large meetings. Additionally, the place is equipped with modern logistics including sound and display systems.

The grand training hall in the Administration and Training Building accommodates up to 50 people, and is equipped with modern logistics including a sound and display system, and changeable tables and chairs.

Staff Offices

NAWA was keen on designing staff offices in an innovative way that helps to achieve quietness and creates a proper work environment.

Meeting Room

It is designated for NAWA small staff meetings and also used when receiving Association visitors.

Outside Courtyard

From the Building windows, one can see the famous Deir Al Balah palm tree lands and the children who play in the courtyard. NAWA animators drew interactive games on the ground of the outside courtyard to allow the children to play and move freely. The courtyard is also used for cultural and scientific events and activities.
